CORONA VIRUS RESPONSE
The ongoing Corona virus pandemic has forced us to take some radical steps as mandated by the governor and also as a measure to insure the safety of our residents and on site contractors. First of all, it was necessary to cancel the March Board of Directors meeting for 30 days. It was impossible to hold our meeting in a restaurant where keeping 6 feet away from others couldn’t be guaranteed and the numbers attending the meeting would exceed the state restriction. If after 30 days the situation has not changed the Board will consider other alternatives, like virtual meetings. We will post notices regarding this and any other issues after a decision has been made.
We have also closed the pool and spa. It’s unlikely anyone would be using the pool with the heat off but the spa is always popular, even in cold weather. The problem is this unavoidably brings bodies closer together than six feet and it’s not possible to keep handrails and coping surfaces sterile.
We have requested our landscapers and other services to avoid interaction with residents as much as possible during this period. On occasion it will be unavoidable; for example plumbing problems which require contractors to enter the home. Should this be necessary please take precautions to avoid close proximity to workers and take any other steps necessary. There should be no need to go into detail here since these safety measures are being repeated non-stop in in all forms of media.

We are updating it with information of interest and help to residents.
Trash barrels
Trash barrels must be put out of sight by the morning following collection. Also, we’ve had problems where residents overfill their barrels and the contents spill out. The debris usually ends up outside someone else’s garage and they have to clean it up. Thank you.
Owner modifications
While we encourage owners to make improvements (vinyl windows, etc) there are two things we want to remind you about. Any changes you make to the outside, and any structural changes on the inside, require permission from the association. Also, any problems in the future associated with your modification (leaks, for example) will be the Owner’s responsibility, not the association’s. If you sell your property you must make this clear to a buyer or you could be held responsible for any problems down the road.
