CORONA VIRUS RESPONSE
As you all know, we have had to close the pool and spa. The tennis courts are available for use provided everyone observes the proper hygiene and separation for safety (6 feet minimum). Closure of the pool and spa is mandated by the County until further notice.
We have requested our landscapers and other services to avoid interaction with residents as much as possible during this period. On occasion it will be unavoidable; for example plumbing problems which require contractors to enter the home. Should this be necessary please take precautions to avoid close proximity to workers and take any other steps necessary. There should be no need to go into detail here since these safety measures are being repeated non-stop in in all forms of media.

Have a look at our website: www.ralstonvillage.wixsite.com/website
We are updating it with information of interest and help to residents.
Trash barrels
Trash barrels must be put out of sight by the morning following collection. Also, we’ve had problems where residents overfill their barrels and the contents spill out. The debris usually ends up outside someone else’s garage and they have to clean it up. Thank you.
Owner modifications
While we encourage owners to make improvements (vinyl windows, etc) there are two things we want to remind you about. Any changes you make to the outside, and any structural changes on the inside, require permission from the association. Also, any problems in the future associated with your modification (leaks, for example) will be the Owner’s responsibility, not the association’s. If you sell your property you must make this clear to a buyer or you could be held responsible for any problems down the road.
Board Meetings
Face to face meetings are still not possible for the foreseeable future. The Board is looking into video conference apps like Zoom and Skype which would permit members to watch the meeting. Sort of like what you see at city hall. Input from members is an issue which needs to be resolved. Once a date is set we will probably have to mail notices to members to provide them with instructions on how to join the meeting. Hackers breaking into meetings is a real problem so access has to be password protected. Hopefully the current situation will begin to resolve itself soon and we can get back to near normal.
